The week after Nintendo’s Gameboy turned 25 years old, an even older, classic toy is getting the spotlight thanks to Canada’s Antoine Cantin. The teenager has not only broken a world record, he did so with one hand, solving the Rubik’s Cube in 12.56 seconds.

He also holds, according to his website, “the World Record for 3×3 One-Handed average (12.56), and the Canadian Records for 3×3 average (8.79), 3×3 One-Handed (single, 10.63), Pyraminx (2.77 single), Rubik’s Clock (7.83 single, 9.15 average) and Skewb (7.07 average). Additionally, I’m currently #1 in North America for sum of all single ranks”.
